First Aid Training – Level C
Salary: depends on education & experience
Education: ECE preferred and/or experience working with children
Responsibilities:
Assist with supervision of children in various indoor/outdoor activities (free play)
Assist children in age appropriate activities such as: art, games, washing hands
Assists maintaining a clean & safe environment for the children while present
Modeling appropriate behavior & promote healthy habits
Ensue all policies are followed (guidance, safety, confidentiality, etc.)
Assisting with housekeeping duties at days end

Quality Matter (QM), is a province-wide assessment program that will be used to determine eligibility for funding for licensed child care centers.
It is based on evidence-based research regarding the importance of quality early childhood education experiences for children and informed by international practices to support quality improvements in licensed child care centers.
A key component of implementing Quality Matters is finding ways to work in partnership with families. Collaboration with families provides an opportunity to strengthen our relationships and communication methods with families to build effective partnerships. If we involve families and communication that is open and honest, the quality improvement process will be affirming for all and have a positive impact on the quality of care and children’s learning experiences and outcomes.
